Nuffnang’s featured blogger for the month of March!
Jeanne Khe of thejeannejournal.
1. Who are you and what is your blog about?
I’m Jeanne Khe but people might probably remember me better with my online name: “Jeannegerbread”. I’m a full time employee/entrepreneur who blogs about fashion, beauty, lifestyle and travel on the side.
2. What can we expect from your blog?
You can expect a lot of OOTDs, beauty reviews and travel experiences on my blog and other social media accounts. I like sharing things that I find interesting or good so that other people can try them too. I have also relied on social media, just like most people, to discover new restaurants, places and outfits so I just thought it would be nice to return the favor sometimes.
3. When and how did you start blogging?
I started blogging by sharing style posts when I was still in college. It also became my online diary where I shared some of the memorable days of my life. But as I and my blog grew older, I shared less about my life and focused more on posting OOTDs, reviews, advises and experiences which I believe are more helpful and beneficial for my readers. For the longest time blogging was just a hobby but by mid-2015, I was invited by Nuffnang to my first blogging event (EVER) and my bloglife was never the same again.
4. What separates your blog from other blogs?
Every blog is unique with different photos and experiences shared on each of them so…. I’m just gonna share what I’m most proud of about my blog because I want it to be known for it. Haha! I blog as honestly as I could. I share real experiences, whether its good or bad. I give honest advice because I really want to be able to help others in my own little way.
It’s really nice to hear people say “thanks for the helpful review on this” or even a random “ang sarap naman dyan, ma-try nga” because I know I was able to touch their lives and aid them in their journey as well.
5. What is the best thing about being a blogger?
Let’s be honest here. One of the really nice things about being a blogger are the perks, the freebies, GCs and sometimes earning from doing something very exciting. Masaya talaga siya. But more than that, I love that I get to meet so many new people both online and in almost every event that I attend. That’s not something I can get from just sitting in the office all day, everyday. It’s also funny how sometimes I only meet people online pero feeling ko close na kami. Haha! Or baka feeling close lang ako. *oops* And another good thing about being a blogger is you get to meet, interact and exchange thoughts with people who have the same interests as you because you get to express your passion without holding back.
