Nuffnang Featured Blogger for the month of September

First of all, I would like to thank Nuffnang for the honor of being Nuffnang’s Blogger of the Month for September 2009! :-)

Hi everyone, My name is Rochelle Sy Chua but you can just call me Roch (pronounced as Rosh or Roche).

My blog name is HeaRty’s Haven and you can access it by going to http://www.rochellesychua.com

HeaRty is my nickname way back in elementary and I also used it as my online name way back in 1996 when I was still very active in MiRC. I also started a personal website last 1998 using just notepad (HTML hardcoding). I closed it down and created some more websites but ended up closing them down as well.

I started to seriously blog last year when I launched HeaRty’s Haven last July 2008. The blog mainly talks about my thoughts, my favorites & experiences in life.

It is divided into these main sections:

  • Beauty & Fashion
  • Travel & Lifestyle
  • Gaming
  • Health & Fitness
  • Home & Living

These are the top 4 that are my most important passions in my life.

Family – My mom and Auntie Beng are most important to me. I love them the most & I’d go miles for them. They are both far away coz both of them are living in another country. I’ll be seeing both of them this month & I’m uber excited!

Gadgets – I just love gadgets and I also have a reputation for being a gadget freak. They are the only material things that can make me happy! :P I love everything Apple-branded, current gadgets that I have are: iPhone, Macbook Pro, Canon G10, iPod Nano 3G, iPod Video 80GB, Palm T|X, Samsung LCD TV, etc.

Food – Eating is my ever-favorite thing to do. I guess this is quite obvious from the sheer number of food reviews I have in my blog. I love to try out every new restaurant in town, but I also wouldn’t mind going back to my favorite restaurants.

Travel – I also love to travel but due to budget constraints, I’m limited to certain options. This year, I’ve travelled to Boracay, & Pangasinan. I have definite plans to go to Taiwan & Cebu as my next destinations, but Davao is also a possibility.
