Nuffnang Featured Blogger for the month of February

Yay!! I’m shy to expose myself LOL but because it’s Nuffnang why not!! Buff buff! Nuffnang Philippines has been so good all the time, and I can’t believe I’m now featured, thanks Nuffnang! Nuff nuff!! First of all, I want to thank Nuffnang for giving me this opportunity to be part of their featured page. It took me 2 days to compose this thing. It’s really hard to describe yourself. :lol:

Okay, Who am I? People call me Ada. My close friends describe me as wa poise (walang poise), geek, natural, curly, active, crazy, noisy, clumsy, weird and addict. If it’s my first time to meet you, I’m not showing that kind of attitude. You may find it negative. Hehe! OMG. But if you find it irritating, I am willing to change. Change like Obama.

What’s my blog and what I blog?
I blog at Adaphobic. I spend a lot of time surfing the net and blogging. Blog about press events, reviews, and photography. I love photography, Nikon D60 is on my hand. I have many blogs, different niche, just find out what are those.

What’s my profession?

Bwahaha!! “Yikes what’s this? You’re a nurse?”
Yes. I am a nurse by profession but blogging has been my passion, and being a nurse is also my passion. I did not like Nursing, but after my exposure to the community, seeing less fortunate family and pregnant women, I decided to pursue and take it seriously for the sake of humanity. LOLOL.

Why Adaphobic?
Phobic (phobia) means fear. Adaphobic “means fear of Ada.” FYI: It took 4 months before Google indexed my blog! Probably they fear my domain. I can say Google has Adaphobia.

What makes me an addict?
I’m really fond of going in weird corners such as cabinets, under the bed, tree branches. It’s like a childish adventure to me. I love taking pictures of places that prohibits picture taking. What else.. I can easily get addicted to new things which I find addicting. Those are Korean movies, Korean boys, RPGs, photography. Oppa!

Ada’s Life Online
People thought I graduated from a computer related course thing, but no, I just love computer and the internet since 1999. During April 2003, i used to blog on Xanga and Livejorunal. Due to Friendster popularity back then, I decided to share my friendster layouts stuff which was in my Livejournal before. Months passed by, I decided to have my own website, which was Techno-Sisters now Vixenart.net.

Publicity
November 2008, Vixenart was featured in Manila Bulletin’s Blog-O-Rama corner by Miss Annalyn Jusay.

I gained a small publicity in Studio 23′s Man and Machine. Thanks Nuffnang, Sony and Jehz!

Lastly December 2008, I was one of the lucky bloggers to tour inside the Eco Moda Manila where I Love Betty La Fea is being shot. We had the chance to lunch with the cast such as John Lloyd Cruz, Wendy Valdez, Thou Reyes and Ruffa Gutierrez.

Not only that, I also appeared as anextra in TV Patrol (Star Patrol), The Buzz, TV5 (only my hair), and Eat Bulaga.

Blog Events.
I have joined numerous blog events during year 2008. Some of the notable big blog events I have attended are Wordcamp 2008 and DigitalFilipino Manila Networking Night. I have met many bloggers already and some became my real time friends. There’s so many good things about being a blogger. Gaining friends, publicity, celebrity encounters, freebies, and money. Nuffnang also held seasonal blog events for all Nuffnang bloggers, like free movies so always join Nuffnang contest!
