Who are you and what is your blog about?

I am Nikki, the Make-up artist, the nail artist, the Blogger, the Energizer Bunny, the “sister”, actually I’m everything rolled into one   My blog AskMeWhats talks about anything that makes a person beautiful both in and out.

What can we expect from your blog?

Here are some of the topics you will see from my blog —

• AMW Reviews – in depth product reviews from make-up products, skin care, hair products, body products and even can go beyond girly stuff, I also review techie stuff that interest me.  (From phones to headphones to earphones to laptops and cameras)
• AMW Version – a look that I created with diagram for newbies to learn how to apply makeup.
• AMW Reports – events that I’ve attended or whatever I’ve experienced that I think worth reporting, I include it in this segment.
• Nail Art Tutorial – a step-by-step guide to create nail art designs!
• AMW Bulletin – What’s happening around like “sales”, “workshops”, “new products”, are all reported here.
• Eureka Moment! – A random post on great finds!  (meaning, inexpensive yet works like a charm!)
• AMW Makeovers – random makeovers I’ve done to clients, a before and after pictures are shown to see how make-up can bring out the natural beauty in anybody!
• Weekend Food Trippings – A beautiful person needs to eat to look good!  No matter how much products you use, if you don’t eat , you won’t look beautiful…at all!

When and how did you start blogging?

I started January of 2008.  I actually thought of creating an “Advise Blog” as I’ve always been called by my friends “A good Adviser or Dial-a-Friend”.  I was hoping to do a jump start by randomly advising on my blog questions that was asked to me in person!  It turned out mostly on “beauty-related” inquiries.  That’s where my blog gets its direction.

What separates your blog from other blogs?

I think each blog is unique in its own ways.  I don’t think the rest of the blogs are the same and I’m different!  All I can say about my blog is that, you can definitely see my personality shine through — cheerful and happy!

What is the best thing about being a blogger?

Meeting new friends!  Gosh, I can’t believe my circle of friends can get this big!  Aside from that, I get to be very observant with tiny details because I want to share to my readers what I learned and I want it to be comprehensive!  Being a blogger keeps my mind away from the usual work!  It’s a breather for me!
