Blog Day was created with the belief that bloggers should have one day dedicated to getting to know other bloggers from other countries and areas of interest, and Nuffnang is proud to be celebrating the 6th Blog Day on 31st August 2011!

Hi Nuffnangers!

You asked for transformation… We gave you the ultimate transformation!

Together with PLDT my DSL, Nuffnang has brought again another blockbuster to all the Nuffnang bloggers, Transformers and the Dark of the Moon. This movie, starred by Shia LaBeouf, was marked as the 10th highest-grossing film of all-time and the highest-grossing film of the three Transformers movies.

And it was a real blockbuster indeed!

Around 250 people were in Shang Cineplex to watch the premier of Transformers with us (the first transformation of the night–a new venue for the bloggers!).

It was not only the Nuffnangers who showed up that night! Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Megatron and Sentinel Prime also bonded with our very own Nuffnangers!

While waiting for the movie to start, the Nuffnangers mingled with each other while enjoying cocktails and the instant photobooth.

And as if those weren’t enough, Nuffnangers were also given ID lace by our movie sponsor, PLDT myDSL!

Hey, Nuffnangers!

Last June 30, Nuffnang, together with Hapee Toothpaste, brought us yet another special community event—an exclusive screening of X-Men: First Class! This hit movie charts the epic beginnings of the famous X-Men saga, as they come into terms with their supernatural capabilities, and start to distinguish themselves as either heroes or villains.

For those who saw the film, what did you think?

Anyway, while waiting for the movie to start, we all had sufficient time to mingle with each other, enjoy free ice cream (thanks to Hershey’s and Greenbelt Cinemas), and get our freebies from the generous Hapee team!

Hi, Nuffnangers!

If you were one of the 100++ people who showed up last June 4 at Crosswinds Tagaytay, you just knew how crazy it was. If you weren’t, well, you’re crazy to have missed it, too.

Although the event had to be moved due to inclement weather, come June 4, Nuffnang hosted its first-ever Nuffamily day, with the theme of lifting off. It was a one-of-a-kind event, bringing together the Nuffnang network’s bloggers in a near-perfect amalgam of excitement and relaxation for everyone who was there.

The afternoon was greeted by cooperative weather as the bloggers met up in the Fort in the (in)famous Nuff(Nang?) Buses, all unaware of the surprises that would be awaiting them. As soon as they got to the venue, they were greeted by picnic-perfect weather: picnic mats laid out for all of them, and food courtesy of Pizza Hut and Jollibee, snacks courtesy of Mr. Donut, Goldilocks, and Jack N Jill, plus drinks courtesy of Del Monte Fit n Right and Del Monte Heart Smart Pineapple Juice! Not to mention oodles of special items from Skechers, 7/11, Bisolvon, Neo, Mentos, Pantene, and Crosswinds Resort Suites.

Hosted by radio superstar and Nuffie Kel Fabie, the event was filled with games ranging from Bring Me to a Manila Paper Dance to Hep Hep Hooray (As hosted by the star of the new millenium, Nuffie Trixie Esguerra!), and even a Nuffnang Spelling contest, that resulted in some of the most creative performances you will have ever seen. Everyone was having the time of their lives winning prizes left and right, but even all that wasn’t the highlight of the whole event!

After all the games were done, Nuffnang PH Country Manager Carlos Palma then led the lantern lift-off, as the beautiful night sky of Tagaytay was adorned with bright lanterns that brightened up not just everyone’s night, but everyone’s heart as well. It was a sight to behold, and something that left a lasting impression on everyone who was there.
