Hey Nuffnangers! We’ve been working on something for quite a while now and we’re really excited ’cause we can finally share it with you guys today. Introducing…

…the brand new Innit, complete with a ridiculously awesome face lift and loads of nifty new features! TA-DAH!!! *cue extravagant fireworks display behind Nuffnang office*

To date, Innit has proved to be overwhelmingly popular, with more than 250,000 submitted posts and 1,000,000 chat messages! We are hardly content to rest on our laurels, however, and are launching Innit with many new features, aimed at making it easier for you to read interesting posts and join in the community. We’re losing the focus on only the top ten and most recent posts.

Here are some of the new features that you might find useful:

Separate Country Views

- You can now access Innit in your respective countries (MY, SG, PH or AU) by going to http://innit.nuffnang.com/[country code]. For example, Malaysian Nuffnangers would be able to access Innit at http://innit.nuffnang.com/my. You will also be able to choose to view only posts in English or in Bahasa.

Featured Posts

- The ‘Featured Posts’ section will show the top “Nanged” posts according to the category you’re currently viewing, and it will also display several posts hand-picked by Innit mods which we think are worth reading.

Innit Community

- You can choose to view blog posts submitted to Innit sorted by popularity/most recent submissions, or by time frame submitted. You can also choose to view submissions by category too!
- On the main page, you’ll be shown a summary of latest/most popular posts from different categories.

Innit Submission

- Each blog post submitted to Innit can now include a thumbnail image from the blog post itself, which can be selected during submission. Spiffy, huh?

- Share Innit posts on Twitter! In the single post view, you’ll be able to tweet the post directly from the page itself.

- Also, in the single post view, you’ll be able to see previous posts submitted by the post author.

Friends

- Now this is one of the new features we think is really cool. You can now add other Nuffnangers as Friends in Innit, and you’ll be able to follow their latest posts and comments!

Chatbox

- Last but not least, allow us to introduce you to the new Innit chatbox. It not only looks a whole lot prettier than before, now, it also has an integrated function to display Tweets with the #innit or #nuffnang hashtag. Just include #innit or #nuffnang in any of your tweets and it’ll appear in the chatbox :)
