Musicfest 2010: Kris Allen, the Jabbawockeez, and Boyce Avenue live in Cebu and Manila!

Metrocardclub.com, in cooperation with Channel [V] Philippines, GMA 7, Fearless Productions, and PLDT MyDSL Watchpad bring together three artists in the massive Musicfest 2010 featuring Kris Allen, the Jabbawockeez, and Boyce Avenue. The Philippine tour kicks off tomorrow (February 5, Friday) in SM City Cebu North Open Parking 2 at 8PM and continues the following day (February 6, Saturday) at the McKinley Hill Open Grounds at 8PM.

Kris Allen is best known for his memorable performances in American Idol including songs by Bill Withers (“Ain’t No Sunshine”), Kanye West (“Heartless”) and Michael Jackson (“Man in the Mirror”), outstanding renditions of timeless hits as influenced by The Beatles, Jamie Cullum, John Mayer and even Michael Jackson himself. Since winning the popular singing competition, Kris Allen boasts of nominations in the Teen Choice Awards and People’s Choice Awards, a number one hit on the iTunes chart (for his Idol Coronation Song, “No Boundaries”) and a chart-topping single “Live Like We’re Dying.”

Jabbawockeez.

After gaining worldwide recognition by winning the first season of America’s Best Dance Crew, California-based hiphop group Jabbawockeez triumphantly invaded the entertainment scene. With a long list of appearances in award shows, live events, TV programs and music videos, Jabbawockeez set the bar high for street dancers everywhere.

Boyce Avenue.

With their humble beginnings in Florida, acoustic-rock band Boyce Avenue succeeded in crossing over to the mainstream from YouTube (accumulating 90 million hits, making Boyce Avenue one of the top eight YouTube artists of all time) to conquer the worlds of music both online and offline. The three brothers are responsible for famous covers of hit songs including “Umbrella,” “Apologize,” “Hate That I Love You,” and “With You.”
