Last December 6, 2008, Nuffnang bloggers and consumers gathered together to attend the Sony Expo 2008 at the SMX Center beside Mall of Asia. The place was jam-packed as early as 9:00AM and a lot of bloggers both VIP and non VIP holders lined up early for the event too.

As we all know, Sony in partnership with Nuffnang launched an online blog contest on the “My First Sony Experience.” Registered Nuffnang bloggers were challenged to compose a blog entry on their first ever Sony product and how it made a significant difference in their lifestyles. The consumers were able to show their first Sony experiences creatively by making videos, photo blogging, creative writing and so much more. The blog contest was also a sentimental journey, as consumers recalled just how Sony, like no other brand, has figured in their lives. The one who had the most innovative blog entry won a Sony Cyber-shot T700, which was given by the Cyber-shot endorser herself, Ms. KC Concepcion.

Meet the My Sony Experience contest winner,Mr. Mike Pamero!!!

Mike Pamero, a son of an OFW blogged about his first Sony products which were a Trinitron TV and a Betamax, which he fondly calls as “katas ng Saudi.” He paid homage to his father, with Sony being a symbol of his love and self-sacrifice. Congratulations Mike! Sony and Nuffnang loved your entry!

Definitely a Sony day to remember and an experience beyond compare especially to the winners! But as mentioned, the fun does not stop once the event is over! Taking its merry generosity even further, Sony is staging another phase to its consumer blogging contest and giving everyone a chance to win a cool VAIO C. Anyone who is dreaming of a white (VAIO) Christmas must pray to all the muses and write a creative blog entry about the breakthrough products he or she has encountered at Sony Expo 2008.
