In case you haven’t noticed, we’ve had quite a huge shake-up in Nuffnang Philippines recently, as we finally have a country manager. This momentous milestone was arrived at after we sent all the eager candidates off to a deserted island to face each other in mortal combat until only one of them remained standing (We’re just kidding, of course.). Having said all that, if there was one kind of person you’d want running the show for Nuffnang Philippines, what kind of person would it be? If your answer was “a fellow blogger,” then we’re pretty certain you’d be happy to find out who’s large and in charge now.

Known to the Philippine blogosphere as “Foodie Manila,” Carlos Palma burst into the blogging scene and caught everyone by surprise. With a combination of insightful, introspective writing, an inimitably exquisite taste in food, and second-to-none quality photography, his blog, Foodie Manila, has certainly garnered a lot of attention all over the web since April of 2009.

Hey ya, Nuffnangers!

Nuffnang and Heaven Ice Cream gave Nuffnangers a chance to watch a special screening of Salt last July 28 at Greenbelt 3. Seventy (70) lucky bloggers, along with 2 of their friends/family members, were able to avail of the free tickets.

We, Nuffies, arrived at Greenbelt at around 4:30pm and had an early dinner to get ready for Angelina Jolie’s awesomeness. After eating, we prepared a mini booth in front of Cinema 1 to accommodate the Nuffnangers arriving in time for the 7:30pm movie showing.

After getting the tickets, the bloggers enjoyed unlimited yummy Heaven Ice Cream! Alongside the ice cream booth was a beautiful angel! (‘’,)

While some bloggers were having their picture taken with the lovely angel, some were already inside the movie house with their popcorns, sandwiches, chips and drinks.

Before the movie started, Carlos made a short speech and informed everyone that it was just going to be the start of more screenings through Nuffnang (Yay!!). There will be more events like this for sure!

After Carlos’s introduction, he turned over the microphone to Marcelle who gave away prizes from Heaven by conducting a simple Q&A game. He described each of the four flavors of ice cream and bloggers just had to guess. Heaven gave away 16 gift packs. Pretty easy, eh? A grand prize was also given out that night and the answer to the last question was an easy “Nestle Heaven”. (‘’,)

We are hardly content to rest on our laurels, however, and are launching Innit with many new features, aimed at making it easier for you to read interesting posts and join in the community. We’re losing the focus on only the top ten and most recent posts.

Here are some of the new features that you might find useful:

Separate Country Views

- You can now access Innit in your respective countries (MY, SG, PH or AU) by going to http://innit.nuffnang.com/[country code].
