As some of you may have noticed, our community is indeed growing in numbers by the day! As such, we can’t help but draw potential phising attacks and hackers that try to gather a huge blogger database and exploit you guys for profit using the Nuffnang name. There have been some reports of a Nuffnang email sending out “new banner codes”. We have NOT done so. This is an attempt at asking you to register to their database. The link it leads to is nuffnung.com.

This is a FAKE EMAIL. Please do not sign up or enter your passwords. 

Notice the address says, http://www.nuffnung.com instead of http://www.nuffnang.com.ph?

Don’t worry though. We are trying to block off the site and our programers are tirelessly working to make this community a safer place for you guys.

Hey, guys! How did the first month of 2012 treat you? Here at the Nuffnang hub, January is very special to two Nuffies, Rendhl and Thei, because it’s their birth month! Weeeeeee!

To celebrate, the Nuffies starved to death the whole morning of January 19 in preparation for Sambokojin’s eats all you can lunch treat! We were so excited to grill, grill, grill and eat! The Nuffies can eat a whole lot, y’know, especially the thinnest person in Nuffnang, Trixie!

Everyone was really excited and ready to fight! Here are the Nuffnang girls:

Last December 16, 2011, Nuffnang Philippines flew 26 Filipino bloggers to Malaysia to attend the bi-annual Nuffnang Asia-Pacific Blog Awards in Putrajaya Marriott Hotel. We were joined by more than 500 bloggers from all over the Asia-Pacific (China, Thailand, Australia, Hongkong, Malaysia, Singapore and of course, us from the Philippines).

Just to recap, there were 13 categories, 12 of which were open to voting (except for Region’s Best Blog). We had Filipino representatives in the following categories:

Team Philippines went against the best bloggers from other countries, and was fortunate enough to grab 4 out of the 13 categories! We’re really so proud of all the Filipino contenders! Congratulations to the winners…

Of course, the festivities did not end there. The bloggers attended the official after-party at Zouk.

The following day, we toured around Kuala Lumpur and visited the Old National Palace, the National Monument, Petronas Towers, and Cocoa Boutique!

We then headed to the breathtaking Sky Bar at the G Tower to celebrate some more.

Thank you, Nuffnangers for supporting NAPBAS 2011! We surely had a blast! This event is one for the books!

The support of the Nuffnangers in our community events has truly overwhelmed us, and it is only right that we thank you (yes, you!) for continuing to support Nuffnang. We are also very happy that our community has grown so much in 2011!

Last November 12, 2011, the Nuffies (Nuffnang employees) were joined by bloggers in a wonderful, casual coffee and tea session in Blenz Coffee.

Nuffies Thei, Trixie, Ria, Jel, and Marcelle were joined by Keith and Nikki Tiu, Richard Co, Jean Fernando, and Chrissie Mata-Peria in an afternoon of chitchat, caffeine, and pastries! Blenz also spearheaded a latte art workshop, showcasing their baristas’ creativity!

As an ice-breaker, Nuffie Marcelle showed us a psycho-kinesis demonstration aka a magic trick, where he bent the fork using his “mind”.

Redg de Vera, Marketing Manager of Blenz Philippines, made us try their premium house blend coffee, lattes, Belgian chocolate drinks (available in milk, white, and dark chocolate) coupled with their delicious pastries, freshly prepared for their customers.

He explained that there is a lot of work behind one cup. They make sure that your cup is perfect, from the taste, texture, up to its appearance. Talk about the whole package.

Blenz’ latte artist, Ivan, taught us how to make our own handcrafted lattes, complete with latte art. He showed us how to do several designs – rosetta, dragon, panda bear, monkey, pig, butterfly and flowers.
