A day at the Sony Expo 2008
Last December 6, 2008, Nuffnang bloggers and consumers gathered together to attend the Sony Expo 2008 at the SMX Center beside Mall of Asia. The place was jam-packed as early as 9:00AM and a lot of bloggers both VIP and non VIP holders lined up early for the event too.

As we all know, Sony in partnership with Nuffnang launched an online blog contest on the “My First Sony Experience.” Registered Nuffnang bloggers were challenged to compose a blog entry on their first ever Sony product and how it made a significant difference in their lifestyles. The consumers were able to show their first Sony experiences creatively by making videos, photo blogging, creative writing and so much more. The blog contest was also a sentimental journey, as consumers recalled just how Sony, like no other brand, has figured in their lives. The one who had the most innovative blog entry won a Sony Cyber-shot T700, which was given by the Cyber-shot endorser herself, Ms. KC Concepcion.

Mike Pamero, a son of an OFW blogged about his first Sony products which were a Trinitron TV and a Betamax, which he fondly calls as “katas ng Saudi.” He paid homage to his father, with Sony being a symbol of his love and self-sacrifice. Congratulations Mike! Sony and Nuffnang loved your entry!

Definitely a Sony day to remember and an experience beyond compare especially to the winners! But as mentioned, the fun does not stop once the event is over! Taking its merry generosity even further, Sony is staging another phase to its consumer blogging contest and giving everyone a chance to win a cool VAIO C. Anyone who is dreaming of a white (VAIO) Christmas must pray to all the muses and write a creative blog entry about the breakthrough products he or she has encountered at Sony Expo 2008. Sony Post Event Contest
The Sony Expo 2008 just ended yesterday and we want to thank all of you who came and experienced the event with us! We’re sure you guys had fun as much as we did, but the fun and prizes do not end once the event is over! Now it is time for the Post Event best Blog entry Contest where a Nuffnanger can win a brand new Sony VAIO C Laptop!

This contest is open to ALL people who’ve attended the event. You just need to be a Nuffnanger first before you write and submit an entry.
Contest Mechanics:
1. Write a blog Entry regarding the entire event in the most creative and innovative way ever with the title: ‘A day at the Sony Expo 2008”.
Ex.
2. Include a portion in your entry where you will answer the question “My favourite part/segment of the Sony expo 2008 was/when….”
Ex.
3. Feel free to use all the resources you’ve gathered from the event such as pictures, videos, freebies, etc. as long as it will help make your entry more creative.
4. Again, make us and Sony swoon by your creativity and resourcefulness. Impress us!

1. ALL Nuffnangers can join the contest. This means even if you’re from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao or anywhere in the world, as long as you meet the other requirements of Nuffnang ,then you’re free to join any promo or contest that we are currently running.
Disclaimer: Fare and hotel etc. are not included in the package thus if you won and you are somewhere else, it is up to you how you can come to the event.
2. Yes! Nuffnang’s First Movie Premiere
Last November 18, 2008, Nuffnangers gathered together to watch the movie premiere of Burn After Reading. The event was made more memorable by it being the first movie premiere produced for Nuffnangers, where they were all able to see each other in person for the first time.
The event was held at Robinsons Movieworld Cinema 6, Robinsons Galleria.

The Nuffies gave out two tickets to each Nuffnanger who won the Spying over Burn After Reading contest.
Of course we’re all smiling….
Bloggers will not be bloggers without their cameras, so after they got their tickets, they immediately posed for their post-event entries.
